The Learjet 35 and 36 are stretched, turbofan powered developments of the initial Learjet models, including the Lear 23, Lear 24 and Lear 25. Learjet 35 is a series of American multi-role business jets and military transport aircraft. When used by the United States Air Force they carry the designation C-21A. The Lear 35 has seating for up to eight, but has less fuel capacity than the longer range 36, which can only seat up to six, as both types share the same maximum takeoff weight.
