The Beechcraft (now Raytheon) Premier I, a light jet aircraft, was the first all new product of the Raytheon Aircraft Beech/Hawker combine to fly, and is an all-new entry-level corporate jet designed to compete head on with Cessna's highly successful Citation Jet/CJ1 series. The Premier I is constructed with high-strength composite, carbon fiber/epoxy honeycomb fuselage. It is perfect for shorter light jet flights with smaller groups of passengers.
The Premier I power plants are Williams International FJ44-2A engines. It also has an exceptionally roomy cabin for a light jet aircraft with folding tables, four club type seats, two forward-facing seats, and a partitioned aft toilet.
